In Which I Make a Blog Post Without Dating Someone

Listen, I think we can both acknowledge that two years is an unacceptable time for you to let pass without having me make a blog post. It's okay, I am nothing if not forgiving, and I'm willing to overlook it this time. Just don't let it happen again.

Anyway, now that we've gotten your apology out of the way, let's catch up. I do have a confession to make- I've previously only ever posted in this blog while dating someone. This is my first time posting in here purely for me. I've been doing therapy, and I'm trying to learn how to do things for myself rather than out of a desire for impressing or making others happy. This will not be my best writing- I normally spend time before a post considering what I'm going to write, and then I edit and rewrite entries multiple times before I post them. It is new for me to do something purely for me, and as I'm exercising a new muscle here, it's still pretty weak. On the bright side, I am at least making a post. My next one will be better, and you won't have to wait another two years, I promise. Hope things are going well for you all, and I'll talk to you soon.
